EastArkNet is an independent service. It is not owned, operated, endorsed, sponsored, authorized, or administered by any police department, fire department, emergency medical service, dispatch center, emergency-management organization, governmental entity, public-safety radio system, utility, or other organization whose communications or information may appear through EastArkNet.

Agency names, radio-system names, talkgroup names, and geographic references are used for identification and informational purposes only. Their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Not an Emergency Service

EastArkNet is for lawful personal information and general situational awareness. EastArkNet is not an emergency alerting, dispatch, warning, incident-command, officer-safety, responder-safety, or mission-critical system.

Do not use EastArkNet as a substitute for official information, emergency services, or direct instructions from public-safety officials.

Information Can Be Delayed, Missing, or Wrong

Radio communications, recordings, alerts, talkgroup labels, timestamps, locations, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, misidentified, distorted, or inaccurate. Initial radio reports can also be wrong or lack important context.

EastArkNet does not guarantee that every transmission or incident will be received, recorded, processed, published, or delivered. A missing call or silent scanner does not mean that nothing happened.

Do not make safety, travel, medical, legal, or operational decisions solely from EastArkNet information.

Lawful Use Is Required

You are responsible for using EastArkNet lawfully. Using EastArkNet information to facilitate a crime, evade law enforcement, interfere with responders, stalk or harass someone, compromise restricted operations, or cause harm is prohibited.

EastArkNet may preserve information or cooperate with valid legal process and lawful investigations when required or permitted by law.

You are responsible for how you use information obtained through EastArkNet.
