St. Francis County Sheriff's Office

Forrest City, AR

Public calls for service ring at the county PSAP located at the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office in Forrest City.

Radio traffic includes a mixture of 10 codes and plain English. The Arkansas State Police phonetic alphabet is used.

The communications center answers to either “dispatch” or “county.” Sheriff’s deputies use 600 series callsigns.

The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office is dispatching on the county’s MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus system, operating under FCC callsign WSEC644. The antenna is about 100 feet above the ground on a water tower in Forrest City.

The system has three VHF frequencies and four talkgroups. It’s possible there are more talkgroups on this system that I have yet to find.

SFCSO also uses an AWIN talkgroup interchangeably with their talkgroup on the CAP+ system.
