10 Codes & Phonetic Alphabets
Not every agency in Arkansas uses 10 codes. The ones that do generally follow the 10 codes used by the Arkansas State Police.
Almost every agency in the state uses a phonetic alphabet. Some use the standard NATO or “military” phonetic alphabet. Others, especially those that use 10 codes, use the phonetic alphabet in use by the Arkansas State Police.
