Arkansas Game and Fish Commission District D1
These are the game wardens. Public calls for service ring at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Enforcement division headquarters in Little Rock. District D1 consists of Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Monroe, Phillips, St. Francis, and Woodruff counties. The district headquarters is located in Brinkley.
Radio traffic follows the Arkansas State Police standard 10 codes and phonetic alphabet.
The communications center answers to “D1 Little Rock” for the district I monitor. AGFC enforcement officers use 300 series callsigns in this district.
The AGFC Enforcement division is dispatching on the State’s APCO P25 Phase II AWIN system. The two sites I monitor are operating under FCC callsigns WQBZ905, which has its antenna 308 feet above the ground on a tower near Interstate 40 in Shell Lake; and WPNN286, which is on a tower 344 feet in the air in Forrest City. AGFC D1 has several talkgroups but, as with all other agencies I monitor, I only broadcast the routine dispatch talkgroup.
